As a Staff Engineer, you are accountable for architectural integrity and technical guardrails in an AI-agent-driven delivery model. You set standards, review system design, and enable teams to ship reliably at speed.
WHAT WE NEED
Qualifications
- Demonstrated system design and architecture leadership in production environments.
- Strong fundamentals in reliability, security, performance, and operability.
- Ability to create enforceable standards and improve team effectiveness.
- Experience designing “agent + tooling” workflows (prompt patterns, validation gates, automation).
- Experience with distributed systems and complex enterprise integrations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Job Description
- Own architecture and key technical decisions; document trade-offs (ADRs).
- Define technical guardrails: coding standards, test strategy, review checklists, security/performance baselines.
- Ensure integration readiness: contract testing expectations, approved auth models, observability requirements.
- Partner with Producers to de-risk delivery plans and with Product Engineers to unblock implementation.
- Drive tech debt strategy and mentor engineers through design reviews and technical coaching.
